Mission

The UNL Soil Health Program promotes and collaborates in statewide efforts to improve the soil health of Nebraska’s agroecosystems by promoting regenerative agriculture practices.

Objectives

  1. Lead, collaborate, and promote multi-disciplinary Soil Health projects and events across the state.
  2. Develop, evaluate, and communicate the impact of management practices on soil ecosystems services.
  3. Build a Soil Health educational platform with research-based information accessible to all.
  4. Reinforce our Soil Health learning communities by offering Soil Health assessment training and educational experiences within and outside the university, collaborating with specialists, extension educators, and external collaborators and partners.
